Happy New Year!

2012 ended with a bang, I should say! Although I didn't get any accounting job in the US as I wanted to, at least I found something and have put in 303 days so far. I'm closing in on the one-year mark. Yippee!

And I've gained a lot of good athletic experience at my karate practice and running adventures. Not too shabby to have started the year at 7th kyu and ended with 3rd kyu. I've exhausted all the color belts that I can get. The only belt left is the black one!

The running events - one 10k, one half marathon - allowed me to familiarize myself with races. I can and should improve on my speed and pacing. But I will just take it easy.

Just hope I can return to the snow belt one day soon so that I can train with real skis and real snow. Oh snow god, please bless me this year!
